If you are looking for historic small town charm combined with big city convenience and culture, look no further than Braselton. With the town boundaries spanning four counties—Jackson, Barrow, Gwinnett, and Hall—and located a mere 45 minutes from downtown Atlanta, Braselton offers the perfect location for those who prefer an active lifestyle but who still appreciate a relaxed and serene place to call home.

Here are a few of our favorite Braselton highlights:

Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta

Recognized as one of the world’s best road courses as well as one of Georgia’s top entertainment centers, the Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta is a premier destination for racing enthusiasts and those looking for an affordable, family-friendly outing.

Situated on 750 park-like acres in the rolling hills of Braselton, GA, just 35 miles north of Atlanta, the multi-purpose motor sports facility hosts a wide variety of events, including professional and amateur sports car and motorcycle races, racing and driving schools, corporate programs, and testing for motorsports teams.

Pharmaceutical entrepreneur Don Panoz purchased Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta in 2006 and embarked on a major improvement program, drastically updating the circuit. Panoz also established the Petit Le Mans race in 1998 and the American Le Mans Series the following year. In 2012, Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta was purchased by NASCAR Holdings.

Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta is home to major racing events like Motul Petit Le Mans, Drift Atlanta, and The Mitty, which draw hundreds of thousands of spectators from around the world every year. The exciting atmosphere of the crowd as engines rev into gear isn’t one you want to miss!
